The Mage, Warlock, and Magician are the only three classes that use Mage system of Magik.
Mage spells offer a variety of damage and movement abilities. A wide range of damage types and homing projectiles can be used to great effect against the proper enemies, and Mages can cast strong Shields, Blink and Fly into otherwise inaccessible areas, and buff themselves in a variety of ways. Mages can even become invulnerable temporarily once they become powerful enough.
