The sky texture is F_SKY1. Use the sky texture on ceilings of sectors to allow the sky scrolling effect to be drawn in that part of the screen.

Different Sky Heights

If different sectors with sky ceiling need different heights the resulting upper wall from the different height sectors cannot be given a sky texture or left blank. It will cause the Hall of Mirrors (HOM) effect.

Create a smaller sector, contained within the existing sector, but not touching the outside wall, and give it a lower height. If this inner sector has no texture for the upper walls it will paint the sky over anything behind it. By using this trick the appearance of mountains and valleys can be accomplished.
