Exiguus and the Undead is quest 4, and consists of 4 maps. You hear of the quest through a town crier, relaying a message from the King, and heresay. You learn that King Gregor has placed a bounty of 50 gold on Prince Exiguus and the Orb of the Undead. Exiguus has gone rogue and has been raising an armor of undead. You begin your search at Castle Arius, which has recently been taken over by the Sorcerers of the Star.

Today you have chosen to examine goods offered by the merchants. Hoping to see a magical item of power, you look at every table of offered goods.
"Hear ye! Hear ye!" yells a town crier nearby as he rings a rather large bell, "Message from the King. Hear ye! Hear ye!"
A message from King Gregor? This should be interesting, you think.
"The King seeks strong men and women to help fight the Mighty Exiguus, Master of Time, Raiser of Dead, and Traitor to Truth. Go to Castle Arius and defeat this evil man!" Apparently the crier is paid well, he has a strong voice that penetrates the bustle of market talk. "Adventurers wanted to stop Exiguus. Reward shall be any treasures found and 50 gold from the King himself. Here ye! Here ye!" The crier is making his way through the streets. You decide to follow. "Return with the Orb of the Undead as proof and be rich!" The crier then starts repeating his message.
50 gold? Not bad. Perhaps I can do it, you think to yourself.
"It's ridiculous," says the closest merchant as if he read your mind.
"Ridiculous?" you say, "What do you mean ... ridiculous?"
The merchant gives you a shrewd look, "Why can't the King send an army to take care of HIS business? He doesn't need to go tempting our young men and women to seek their fame on hopeless quests. We pay enough taxes. He should have the resources to take care of it himself." The merchant sits down crossing his arms, "Anyway, as I understand it, this Exiguus guy is the King's son ... you know ... Prince Exiguus."
"Prince Exiguus?" you didn't realize that they were one and the same.
"Yep. Same one. Seems that all his sons have had troubles. We're lucky the King doesn't run off himself. But boys will be boys." The merchant takes a bite out of an apple, "What I think doesn't matter. I'm sure several young adventurers have already tried and failed." The merchant notices your curiosity, "Say, you're not thinking about going to that death trap?"
"I don't know," you say, "it just depends ... where would I start? Castle Arius?"
The merchant sighs, "Yeah. I hear the castle has been run over by some group that call themselves the Sorcerers of the Star. Some extremist group of mages. They've hired a bunch of mercenaries to guard the place. A whole army. I don't know much more than that. Hey, you going to buy anything?"
Your mind is elsewhere. You could use the reward money. The castle is not too far away and would be no problem to get to. So the King wants to off one of his sons. Pity.
